An absolutely pummeling assault of thick sludgy riffs, guttural rumbles, and tribal drums. Listening to this album is like being slowly buried by an avalanche. Practically makes Isis sound like Top 40 pop music by comparison.

This review is long overdue. This album right here is the album that finally pulled me out of the "commercial" music world and into the world of the raw, experimental, and sincere. An amalgamation of everything I love about post-metal and hardcore taken to a mathy, heavy, ambient extreme.
